International conference "International Relations in Situations of Global Uncertainty: after (de) Colonization"
Институт истории и международных отношений Южного федерального университета приглашает вас принять участие в научной конференции «Международные отношения в ситуациях глобальной неопределенности: после (де)колонизации», которая состоится 15-16 октября 2021 г.
Это вторая конференция, которая продолжает начатую ранее дискуссию об исторически заданных векторах и глобальных трендах международных отношений, о динамике принятия решений в условиях сосуществования традиционных и нетрадиционных акторов, стратегий и механизмов кооперативных действий в ситуации глобальной неопределенности. Отправной точкой для планируемой конференции является знаковое событие второй половины XX века - распад Британской Индии и появление двух независимых государств – Индии и Пакистана, отмечающих свой 75-летний юбилей в 2022 году. Деколонизация, как представляется, запустила механизм формирования новой нормальности, с которой мир сталкивается сегодня, поэтому особое внимание будет уделено влиянию и отражению де (нео)колонизационных процессов на современное глобальное состояние пост- с точки зрения многогранности социальной, политической, экономической жизни.
The Institute of History and International Relations of Southern Federal University invites all interested to take part in the international conference "International Relations in Situations of Global Uncertainty: after (de) Colonization", which will be held in October 15-16, 2021 in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).
This is the second conference that continues an earlier discussion about historically set vectors and global trends in international relations, the dynamics of decision-making in the context of the coexistence of traditional and non-traditional actors, and strategies and mechanisms of cooperative actions in situations of global uncertainty. The starting point for the planned conference is a landmark event in the second half of the 20th century - the collapse of British India and the emergence of two independent states - India and Pakistan, celebrating their 75th anniversary in 2022. Decolonization seems to have launched a mechanism for the formation of a new normality that the world is facing today; therefore, special attention focuses on the impact and reflection of de (neo) colonization processes on the current global condition post- in terms of the multifaceted social, political, and economic life.
